Antique S. KIRK & SON Sterling Repoussé Floral Sugar Bowl & Teaspoons
MATERIAL: Sterling Silver
CONDITION: Very good antique condition. Silver shows patina and light discoloration and spotting, but could be polished to a fine finish. Bowl is negligibly out of round – see photos.
DETAILS: Antique (circa 1925–1932) S. KIRK & SON sterling silver sugar bowl or salt cellar with two matching Repoussé floral teaspoons. Bowl features detailed raised floral repousse work around the rim and is stamped “Sterling 925/1000” with full Samuel Kirk & Son, Inc. hallmarks on the underside. Versatile shape also referenced historically as a bon bon or nut dish, and similar pieces were sometimes used as small wine coasters. Teaspoons (models #6 and #7) are from the same floral Repoussé collection and are monogrammed and stamped on the underside. Comes with the original S. Kirk & Son embroidered-label dust bag.
